RDJ Supports UCC Business Law Scholarship

Munster’s leading law firm Ronan Daly Jermyn (RDJ) has strengthened its commitment to the Faculty of Law at University College Cork by supporting a new graduate scholarship dedicated to research in the field of business law. The new scholarship will be awarded annually.

Commenting on the scholarship Garvan Corkery, Corporate and Commercial Partner, Ronan Daly Jermyn said, “We are delighted to support this new graduate research scholarship which fits well with RDJ’s commitment to the provision, in Munster, of a first-class corporate and commercial law service.”

Welcoming the scholarship on behalf of the UCC Law Faculty, Professor Caroline Fennell, Dean of Law, said “This scholarship will enhance the development of fourth level legal education at UCC, specifically in the important area of business law.”

The first recipient of the scholarship is Kieran Trant, a first class honours law graduate, who is researching in the field of insider trading under the direction of Professor Irene Lynch-Fannon.
