Ronan Daly Jermyn has an opportunity for a qualified solicitor to join our Corporate and Commercial Department based in our Galway office. This role will work with our highly regarded team of transactional and commercial contract lawyers across our 3 offices in Galway, Cork and Dublin. 

Our team delivers commercial solutions to the legal issues faced by our clients. We work collaboratively and take real pride in what we do for our clients. Solicitors with a minimum of 2 years general corporate experience are encouraged to apply.

Acting for a broad mix of Irish, international, private and public sector clients, the RDJ corporate team advises on all areas of corporate and commercial law including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate governance, corporate reorganisations and joint ventures. The Galway team have a particular focus on working with the world renowned Galway Medtech and ICT clusters and act for some of the leading established and emerging companies in this space. Solicitors with up to two years post qualification experience in employment law advisory and contentious experience in a leading Irish or international corporate law firm are encouraged to apply.

Acting for a broad mix of Irish, international, private, and public sector clients, the RDJ Employment Team advises on all areas of employment law including talent acquisition; grievance and disciplinary issues; TUPE issues and WRC claims. Our employment team works closely with other specialist units within the firm to offer coordinated legal advice on areas such as tax, corporate, data privacy and a range of regulatory areas.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for their own caseload with full support from team members. They will gain further experience in all forms of employment law and have the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients.

Role overview

RDJ has an exciting opportunity for a senior taxation professional to join our team. As our firm grows, we are looking to expand our team of tax consultants and have created this position in our Dublin office.

The successful candidate will work with a broad mix of Irish, international, private and corporate clients and will advise on all areas of tax law. Working closely with the tax team nationally, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the tax agenda in our Dublin office, working in partnership with high calibre professionals in other disciplines, and in particular with our Property and Corporate and Commercial teams.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the tax practice for RDJ, with the potential to progress to partner level.
