RDJ tax partner discusses Revenue Interventions and the Tax Appeals Commission 

RDJ tax partner, Clare McGuinness presented on Revenue Interventions and the Tax Appeals Commission at the Irish Tax Institute’s (ITI) annual conference on Friday, 20 April. Over 400 delegates attended the 2-day conference which took place at the Galmont Hotel, Galway.

Clare covered a number of topical tax issues which were of relevance to the tax practitioners in attendance. In particular, she dealt with the treatment of taxpayers with offshore liabilities who did not avail of the opportunity to make qualifying disclosures prior to deadline for doing so of 1 May 2017. She also provided a comprehensive update on current national and regional projects being undertaken by Revenue and on the operation of the Tax Appeals Commission.
