Ronan Daly Jermyn advised John Cleary Developments (JCD) in the sale of the Capitol retail/office development to a leading German Investment Fund, REAL I.S. AG.
The €45 million transaction was announced to the market on the 1st September having completed in July 2017 and is a major boost for the Cork property investment market.
JCD acquired the site in 2015 and completed the development of almost 100,000 sq ft of Grade A, next generation retail and office space in May 2017. The development was built to the highest global standards with full Gold LEED accreditation and use of the latest, efficient and sustainable technology.
RDJ worked with JCD from the outset of the development with partners John Dwyer and Margaret Ring acting on the retail and office lettings and advising on the sale transaction.
