Ronan Daly Jermyn announces partnership promotions for 2017

Ronan Daly Jermyn has announced the appointment of three Partners across the Firm’s corporate, real estate and litigation practices. This brings the total number of Partners within the firm to 43.

The new partners are Ricky Kelly (Litigation and Dispute Resolution), Brian O’Halloran (Property and Real Estate) and Seán O’Reilly (Corporate and Commercial).

Managing Partner at Ronan Daly Jermyn, Richard Martin, commenting on the appointments, said, "My congratulations go to all of our new partners on reaching this milestone in their career. Meet our new partners:

Ricky Kelly (Litigation and Dispute Resolution)
Ricky is a partner in the firm’s commercial litigation and disputes resolution team.  His clients include a wide range of corporate, financial and charitable organisations as well as private individuals and semi-state bodies.  Ricky has a Masters of Law, a Diploma in Corporate Governance and completed a course on the fundamentals of Computer Forensics. Drawing on his experience in these area, he also leads the firm’s Rapid Response Team to clients who have experienced cyber security threats.

Brian O’Halloran (Property and Real Estate)
Brian advises a wide range of clients, including investors, property developers, local authorities and receivers on all aspects of property law.  He has extensive experience of property development advising clients on the acquisition of sites, financing, through planning, to disposal with a particular emphasis on housing and mixed-use developments.

Seán O’Reilly (Corporate and Commercial)
Seán has broad-ranging experience as a corporate lawyer, advising on mergers and acquisitions, group reorganisations, contract and commercial law matters, and shareholders arrangements of varying size and complexity. Seán previously lectured in contract law and intellectual property law on the LLB course in Griffith College Cork and has had his published work cited with approval by the Irish High Court. He is currently studying for a PhD in Law at University College Cork.
