New site offers free online legal tools and insights for entrepreneurs
Ronan Daly Jermyn has launched RDJ Startups, a free online resource that helps entrepreneurs navigate many of the legal and organisational challenges faced today by start-ups and scaling companies. The site, which includes access to standard legal documents, as well as helpful startup tools and legal insights, provides access to resources many startups are not yet in the position to fund.
Serial tech entrepreneur and founder of Trustev, Pat Phelan said about the site,
“I love this site. Great to see a law firm thinking differently, actively reaching out to address issues for so many Start Ups. Entrepreneurs starting out fall into the same traps which can impede investment and growth. This site will help them avoid many of the common pitfalls and concentrate on what they do best turning ideas into reality. It is innovative initiatives like this that will help drive the entrepreneur culture here. “
Gillian Keating, Head of the Ronan Daly Jermyn’s Corporate and Commercial Group added,
“Ronan Daly Jermyn is committed to supporting the entrepreneur community in Ireland by providing this unique free online legal resource tool. There are so many decisions involved in setting up a new business, we wanted to provide a resource that would help emerging companies come to grips with some of these challenges.” She continued “At Ronan Daly Jermyn, we work with a wide range of companies from startups to large multinationals in key sectors such as technology and healthcare. Launching RDJ Startups enables us to help some of Ireland’s standout entrepreneurs to get ahead, with the ability to access key legal documents and other legal resources through our dynamic and innovative RDJ Startups”.
Declan O’Mahoney, Tech CEO and Entrepreneur in Residence at Tyndall also praises this new resource, calling it a “game changer”. The online resource allows RDJ to “fast track the legals and streamline the process so that entrepreneurs can get on with running the business”. He adds
“The real value of a legal advisor is on the tactical issues and strategic planning. This new strategy from RDJ means lawyers and founders can focus on the real issues at a lower cost and faster timeline.
