The Legal 500 recognises RDJ lawyers and practices

RDJ are pleased to have been named a leader in 17 practice areas in the 2021 edition of The Legal 500 Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), released this week.

The Legal 500 series is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s largest legal referral guides. More than 300,000 corporate counsel worldwide provide feedback each year as part of an independent research process.

In addition to the practice rankings, Employment practice group leader Jennifer Cashman was listed as a “Leading Individual” and 41 RDJ lawyers were recommended in The Legal 500 EMEA 2021 editorial.

What our clients said:

'RDJ know us inside out and are almost like in-house counsel'

'their lawyers are usually willing to provide not just legal advice but are also able to provide a commercial view '

'extremely competent, thorough, responsive and straightforward to work with...the client is at the centre of their commitment'

'always our first port of call: knowledgeable, personable, value for money and knowledge of their clients is second to none'

'one of the sharpest legal minds in his field'

'a wealth of knowledge, tons of energy and, in addition to taking a very pragmatic approach, is lots of fun to work with'

'A rock of sense'

'unstinting willingness to engage with the organisation to understand the issues and provide solutions'

'a polished operator'

'The ease of access to the solicitor or partner you are liaising with is first class'

'Their level of commitment to their clients is unrivalled'

'a standout lawyer who is not only technically strong but always commercially minded. He understands and listens to the client’s objectives and never grandstands or over-lawyers. The fact that he previously worked as an in-house lawyer is evident and he understands the pressures and rhythm of an in-house environment'

'The firm has a strong cohort of talented people who not only have a broad understanding of the sector, but also a really good business sense and work hard to fully understand the rationale behind our business decisions'
