Watchdog may make example in new data law
Head of RDJ’s Cyber and Data Protection Group, Bryan McCarthy spoke with the Irish Examiner about GDPR and whether the Data Protection Commission will look to make an example of a large organisation if it does not comply with the major EU law being introduced later this month.
“I have been assisting my clients over the last number of months as they prepare for the coming into force of GDPR and crucial to this is what I describe as the ‘compliance posture’ of an organisation.”
