About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an associate to join our specialist housing unit which is part of the RDJ Real Estate team.

Based primarily in Dublin, our housing unit specialises in advising developers on all aspects of residential development from site acquisition through the development of individual sites to the sale of developed sites to the PRS market, local authorities, AHBs, investors and private purchasers. We have a passion for delivering commercial solutions to the legal issues faced by our clients and take real pride in what we do.

Acting for a broad mix of Irish, international, private and public sector clients, the RDJ Real Estate team is known for its experience advising on property acquisitions and sales as well as large-scale lettings and complex asset portfolio transactions. We advise some of Ireland’s leading property developers on high profile developments throughout the country across a number of sectors including commercial, residential, retail, healthcare and hospitality. The team also works closely with other specialist units within the firm to offer coordinated legal advice on areas such as construction, finance, tax and corporate transactions.

Background and experience:

Solicitors with a range of 0-5 years of residential and commercial property conveyancing experience in a leading Irish law firms or in specialist conveyancing roles are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate must:

  • Be commercially astute with a strong business sense;
  • Be experienced in both working as part of a team and independently with specific experience in the conveyancing of commercial and residential property;
  • Have excellent written and communication skills;
  • Have the ability to manage internal and external client relationships;
  • Have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are consistently met;
  • Have excellent academic credentials; and
  • Be a qualified Solicitor
