Diversity & Inclusion
We create a happy, healthy and connected workplace where we all thrive together. Our leading wellbeing initiatives, such as our healthy eating webinars, support for employees walking or cycling to work and respect for our people’s work-life balance mean we’ve been recognised as leaders in workplace wellbeing by Ibec, as well as earning the KeepWell Mark and being listed in Leading in Wellbeing Top 100 Companies 2023.
At RDJ we are committed to fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion through recruitment, career development, and ongoing outreach to the communities in which RDJ has a presence. We believe in creating a workplace that reflects the diversity of our clients and of the communities in which we work and live; an inclusive workplace that celebrates diverse talent, varied perspectives and experiences; and one that allows us to better serve our clients.

RDJ has been recognised by the Irish Centre for Diversity and awarded their Investors in Diversity Silver Standard. We are one of only a few organisations in Ireland to have achieved this standard.
RDJ is also a participant in the 30% Club, a collaborative business-led effort to make real change in Ireland, aiming towards increased female representation in senior management. Through our participation in the 30% Club, we are committed to women comprising at least 30% of RDJ's senior management team.
Some of the impactful firm policies and programs that support RDJ’s culture of inclusion include:
Diversity & Inclusion awareness training, an education plan for all employees addressing topics like cognitive bias, cultural awareness, and inclusive leadership.
Scholarship & Placement Program for law students from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
‘Reconnect’ policy for those going on extended periods of leave, such as maternity leave or extended sick leave to ensure the employees feels supported and engaged whilst on leave and on their return.
Mental Health First Aid, a team made up of caring, fellow employees across the firm’s three offices who have received specialist training in how best to support a colleague who may be experiencing a mental health issue and in connecting them with appropriate support where needed.
RDJ Wellness Committee, a cross-office team that plan, promote, and implement wellness initiatives for employees to improve their mental and physical health. RDJ has been awarded Ibec’s workplace wellness accreditation, the KeepWell Mark and was also recently listed in Leading in Wellbeing Top 100 Companies 2023.
