Game changing technology enables digital transformation at RDJ

Ronan Daly Jermyn (RDJ) recently took the opportunity of the rollout of a new practice matter system, along with a move to hybrid working model to partner with Dell Technologies to digitally transform its business and delivery of client services. The result has been a move away from older architecture and systems to new super-fast system with flash technology that enables the firm’s employees to deliver exceptional value to clients whether working from home or in the office.

In this video Jason Ward, Vice President and Managing Director, Dell Technologies Ireland; Connie Wiseman, Chief Information Officer, RDJ; and Jennifer Cashman, Employment Partner, RDJ talk about the game changing technology and what it has meant for the RDJ business and the delivery of client services.

“We looked at how we could use this particular opportunity to digitally transform their business and with the help of PFH we mapped out their IT requirements and then we brought RDJ to our solution centre in Limerick where we were able to showcase and demonstrate how our technology could be used and deployed to deliver really good value services to their clients in a work from home environment” - Jason Ward, Vice President and Managing Director Dell Technologies Ireland

“Work has changed exponentially for us but also for our clients so it’s been really important for us to be able to stay in constant communication with our clients and we couldn’t have done that without technology. Now people can work flexibly and they can work from anywhere as long as they have the technology and the tools to do it…The future of work is going to be a lot more flexibility, a lot more remote work and a lot more dependence on technology and good secure data” – Jennifer Cashman, Partner, Ronan Daly Jermyn

“We needed a trusted partner who could provide the technology and firepower to rapidly process the growing amount of data within the RDJ business. With Dell Technologies storage array and the PowerEdge servers powered by Intel we have been able to do just that. Our teams are experiencing game-changing differences in the speed of access to data. What we’re seeing is the actual consumption and usage of application on the SAN is 50%-60% faster. Dell have given us that technological firepower that no other supplier has been able to give us…RDJ are really excited about the opportunity to enable the lawyer of the future and our partnership with Dell is key to that” – Connie Wiseman, Chief Information Officer, Ronan Daly Jermyn
