Higgins complaints about legislative process perplexing and unprecedented

Last week President Michael D Higgins wrote to the Oireachtas to express his concerns over the volume of legislation being sent for his signature. In this Opinion piece for the Irish Times, RDJ Partner Dr Brian Hunt examines this unprecedented move by the President and the welcome spotlight it puts on the parliamentary processes involving the scheduling and scrutiny of legislation.
