Role Overview

RDJ has an opportunity for a qualified solicitor to join our Healthcare team in Cork.

This role will work exclusively on clinical defence cases and inquests and will work directly with the Partners for the Healthcare team in Cork.

RDJ has an exceptionally strong reputation in the defence of healthcare claims offering decades of experience acting for the private and public healthcare sector in Ireland on complex medical negligence claims. Clients include statutory bodies, health insurers, healthcare operations, hospitals and physicians.

Background and experience:

  • This is a permanent role and Solicitors with litigation post qualification experience are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have strong academic credentials and excellent written and communication skills
  • Be a qualified Solicitor
  • Have strong advocacy skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and manage caseload, whilst also being a strong team player
  • Be proactive
  • Be commercially astute with a strong business sense
  • Have the ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships
