Elaine is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, specialising in Healthcare Law. She advises healthcare professionals and hospitals in the defence of clinical claims in all court jurisdictions.
Elaine has extensive experience in all aspects of defence litigation procedure and practice. Before joining RDJ, she managed clinical claims within the State Claims Agency, and prior to that, she spent a number of years advising insurers and corporates in all aspects of general defence litigation, and professional indemnity. She has negotiated settlements with and without counsel and has also broad experience in mediation.
She also holds a Diploma in Healthcare from the Law Society of Ireland, in which she was the First Prize Winner.
