Louise Smith
Partner, Cork Office
Louise is a Partner, practising as part of our Dispute Resolution team and heads up our specialised fraud unit. She has significant experience advising on motor, employers’ and public liability as well as indemnity claims for both insured and self-insured bodies.
In addition to an extensive practice in general litigation (across all Court levels), Louise has designed and created strategic strategies for the prevention and detection of fraudulent claims for major Insurers and has a significant success rate in the defence of fraudulent and exaggerated claims. Louise also works for the large loss and complex team of a leading Insurer advising on quantum, assessing and advising on liability and preparing cases for hearing.
Outside the firm, Louise is a member of the Southern Law Association and a member of the Litigation and CPD Sub-Committees of the Southern Law Association.
Louise is also the Chair of RDJ’s Wellness Team and has been trained in professional development and coaching.
