Charlene Walsh

Associate, Galway Office

Charlene is an Associate, practising as part of the firm’s Dispute Resolution and Cyber and Data Protection teams. She has a broad range of experience advising clients in litigation matters with a particular emphasis on financial services litigation, commercial litigation and IP disputes across all court jurisdictions. Charlene also advises both private and public sector organisations on their implementation and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018.

Charlene completed an eighteen-month secondment with the National University of Ireland Galway as their internal legal counsel. In this role, she provided specialist legal advice to support the delivery of services and academic activity across the University. In particular, she routinely advised on matters such as commercial contracts, contract dispute resolution, intellectual property, employment matters, general litigation, governance, data protection and freedom of information.
