Bellew Electrical Wholesale acquires EEW

RDJ advised EEW, a leading Irish wholesaler of industrial machinery, equipment, and electrical supplies, on its acquisition by Bellew Electrical Wholesale (“Bellew”).

The deal significantly strengthens Bellew’s presence across the island of Ireland and the expanded Bellew Group now comprises more than 220 employees, 27 branches and annual revenues of over €100m.

EEW is Ireland’s largest independent electrical wholesale group, supplying a comprehensive range of lighting, cabling, smart home, and industrial electrical solutions to professionals nationwide. In the past year, the company has accelerated its growth through strategic branch expansions and digital innovation, solidifying its position as a market leader in the electrical distribution sector.

Bellew is a leading Irish supplier of high-quality electrical components, serving professionals across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Following a strategic investment by Waterland Private Equity, the company has expanded rapidly with new acquisitions, positioning itself as a powerhouse in the electrical supply industry.
