Maria is a Senior Associate, practising as part of the firm's Corporate and Commercial team. Her practice covers a range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, corporate governance, joint ventures and equity fundraising matters.
Maria has experience advising both private and public sector clients on best practice in data protection and, specifically, GDPR compliance. She is a qualified Data Protection Practitioner having obtained a Distinction award in PDP Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection.
Maria previously worked in the Corporate team at a private practice in a leading commercial law firm in Northern Ireland. She has experience working with a large range of clients including private individuals, start-up companies and multinational entities in the technology, healthcare, retail and hospitality and manufacturing sectors.
