  • JP Gilmartin



    JP is a partner in the firms Galway office and represents a broad range of clients, both indigenous and multinational. JP’s core areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, re-organisations, corporate and commercial, intellectual property and corporate finance.

    Prior to joining Ronan Daly Jermyn, JP worked in the Corporate Department of a leading Irish law firm. JP has particular expertise in the Medtech sector representing numerous clients in the Galway Medtech cluster.

    JP has advised on several significant transactions over the past year including, acting for the National University of Ireland Galway in relation to the acquisition of the Shannon College of Hotel Management; acting for a West of Ireland based holding company in relation to its sale of a trading services subsidiary to a French listed company; and acting for Neuravi Limited in relation to its €19 million Series B fundraising from a syndicate of indigenous and overseas venture capital investors.

    JP is deputy president of the Galway Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Galway Chamber Audit Committee.
